Former CNW GP9 4556 and St. Lawrence & Atlantic GP40 3000 rest beneath clear skies on Toccoa's south side on a crisp night awaiting the call to duty in the morning.
While riding a train to Toccoa we lost 3000 mid trip and had to stop to start it back up. I took advantage of the opportunity for a quick photo while Eddie walked back and did his thing.
Conrail 7874, now sporting the CSX number 1973, is part of the Hartwell Railroad locomotive roster, however, it slowly continues to rust under a gloomy sky.
