Santa Fe FP45 5942 (ex-102) speeds the all piggyback "Super C", the hottest train on the Santa Fe, through Fullerton, CA, on the way to Chicago on December 2, 1972. The 5942 wears an early version of the Yellow Warbonnet scheme (note the yellow stepwells) and was painted from the passenger colors to this scheme in November 1972 - and after just about a month, there are already dings in the paint!
