| Originally built as DRGW 3078 (GP40), 2/67. Unit sold by UP to Helm Financial Corp. on 5/29/98; rebuilt 12/18/98 to a GP38-2 (retaining GP40 body) by Boise Locomotive Company and repainted/renumbered as UP 2581. |
