Remarks & Notes
A pair of class 24 Berkshires smoke it up as they struggle upgrade through sharp curves on the line from Oudsthoorn to Klipplaat. Equipped with modern cast steel frames and Vanderbilt tenders, they were built in 1950 for light branchline service.

Album created by member Lee Kirchhoff
Album Views: 63,746
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
