| One train at a time, that was the rule for almost 50 years until UP strengthened this bridge in 2002 to allow two trains on the bridge at the same time. The one train only rule dated back to the mid-50's. Now days the UP continues to monitor the stress levels that this 1901 bridge takes when meets like this happen. |
