| BN 7232, with 3 other helpers and a fuel tender, are added onto the head end of an ailing coal train with EMD 9019 leading. The KCS unit had blown it's turbo during the climb up Crawford Hill and even with the 4 helpers on the rear they were unable to make grade without stalling. After adding the 4 helpers up front they had no problem making the summit with 11 good units!! |
