| As the sun begins to set over the horizon, VRE train 331 makes an on time departure from Alexandria as signaled by the highball from the assistant conductor on the second car. The head conductor will give last minute passengars a few more seconds to board the rear of the train and then they'll be on their way south toward Manassas. Just another day in the busy life of a commuter railroad. |
