Passing thru the town of Marina, just North of Monterey, SP 3004 has the two car consist of the days Del Monte in tow. In a few more weeks, the train will end with the coming of Amtrak. Today these tracks are still in place but unused in many years. Owned by the local transit agency some hope exists of a restoration of tran service. The car directly behind the locomotive is #2982, a twin of preserved car "Overland".
