D&H caboose NJ 40 (ex DH 35795, ex RDG 94114), painted for subsidiary Napierville Junction, sits on inbound SC4. During the rebirth of the independent D&H (between Guilford and CP ownership) a number of items were repainted by Oneonta car shop forces (cabooses, crane, Jordan Spreader, boxcars). NJ 40 was repainted for use in Canada between Rouses Point and Montreal on the former NJ trackage. Once cabooses were no longer required in Canada, NJ 40 found a permanent home on Saratoga based local SC4, serving the IP paper mill in Corinth.
