» MP 2 on the Columbus and Ohio River (Ohio Central System) Cadiz Branch, at the SR 151 grade crossing » Folks Siding, Ohio, USA (more..) » August 17, 2007
The Ohio Central coal train heads back to the load out area near Cadiz, at MP 5 on the Cadiz Branch, for another 54 loads of coal which will be destined for Conesville OH. The 3616 is idling, with one engineer watching and blowing crossings, as the engineer at the rear of the train pushes the train forward with five units. Normally it would be only two units on the rear, but due to the NS detours running on the OHCR's ex-PRR Panhandle line, three other engines were picked up prior to entering the Cadiz Branch, to clear congestion on the main.
