Remarks & Notes |
Submitting scanned slides now, I present winter in the swamps of southern Louisiana as BNSF train H-NWOBEL (High Priority Manifest - New Orleans, La., to Belén, NM) cruises westbound behind four SD40-2s, a rare consist even then on the BNSF out of New Orleans. This train is built at the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad's Cotton Warehouse Yard along the riverfront in New Orleans. US Highway 90 can be seen in the distance. |
