The AAPRCO train starts their trip west out of Dubuque Yard. The train is about to hit the CTC mainline at Wood. The train is heading to Omaha, NE where the train will be on display during this week. The train will run from Dubuque, IA to Council Bluffs, IA, over the CN's Dubuque, Waterloo, and Omaha Subs, a total of 330 miles.
The City of Omaha was a special train of privately owned railroad cars that are part of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO). The train was in conjunction with the annual convention in 2007 that was held in Omaha, Nebraska.
