Earlier in the day NS train 342 derailed a few cars at North Garden, VA, blocking the way for Amtrak #20, the northbound Crescent. Busses are at trainside in Lynchburg to take the stranded passengers on to Washington. Management (left) discusses with the rank-and-file the transfer plan. Baggage to come off first.
