Remarks & Notes |
5833 works its way up the north side of Logan Hill. It's a windy day and dust is everywhere. The powerful slow speed grinning of the big AC's brought home why AC's are used on coal drags. This train took over ten minutes to reach this point from the bottom of the curve in the background. Coal trains are under powered; they put the AC’s on the train and let them push at whatever speed they can make. Lots of track time requires lots of mainlines. The fourth mainline is under construction in the background. |
