Travel Town's EMD Model 40 sits in front of the museum's newest acquisition, American Crane Model 508cd, serial 1887. Built in 1943 for the war department. The crane, which had worked with this very Model 40, was donated by the Boeing Company. The Dinky was donated by McDonnell-Douglas (prior to Boeing takeover). The Dinky is named "Charley Atkins" for the Recreation and Parks employee who founded the museum in 1952. Everything here is trucked in.
