The Great Northern hasn't been though Edmonds in over 30 years, but the famous GN herald still glows bright in the station. Looking down on the Train Bulletin, we see Amtrak's 4 daily Cascades stand heartily in the Pacific Northwest, but they're no match for the Empire Builder, wearing numbers 7 and 8, as she still reigns supreme over the little historic, waterfront station.
