Remarks & Notes

Santa Fe 5021 west crosses the Southern Pacific's "Sunset Route" at Colton, California. In the consist are three Southern Railway SD40-2s, which the Southern traded to Santa Fe for three GP40Xs for testing. (Following the tests, the units were swapped back to the owning railroads.)
