| An eastbound APL stack train pops out of tunnel 7, only to enter tunnel 8 fifty yards or so further east. These are the "Twin Tunnels," built by the State of California as part of construction of the Oroville Dam and resulting line relocation of the Western Pacific. Together these tunnels are over 13,000 feet long. |
