| The sun has just risen enough to start lighting this shallow valley and the 2 BNSF trains there. The foreground train of covered hoppers is SB, waiting for clearance to enter the single track at Palmer Lake. The 9903 in the background leads a trainload of empty coal hoppers north. Note the DP units trailing. Snow covered Pikes Peak is in the distance at left. |
