Remarks & Notes
The Milwaukee station is a busy place on this snowy and blustery December day as Amtrak train #7, the westbound Empire Builder, makes an on-time stop in Milwaukee. The train left Chicago with only a few passengers on board but began picking up lots of folks at stops such as this one in Milwaukee. Click here to view a few video clips from this trip.

This train, which runs between Chicago and Seattle and Portland, takes its name from James J. Hill, who founded the Great Northern Railroad and extended it from Minnesota to the Pacific Coast.
