| No 79 is about to pass the signal controlled by East Cabin (4R in the plant) that authorized movement up to the east portal of the tunnel. Building in the near upper left was once a roundhouse and was a foundry when photo was taken. Train order board to the left of the third boxcar was that of the CB&Q. Taken from the north side of the Julien Dubuque bridge when the pedestrian sidewalk was on that side. (Train data from writing on back of scanned print.) |
