A rusty car from California’s Interurban Electric Railway sitting derelict in a pit near Coalville, Utah. These four Interurbans, previously unknown, were rediscovered a few years ago. They had been used to shelter farm animals at one time. Unfortunately, they couldn’t be saved (though many spare parts were recovered to restore similar cars at the Western Railway Museum). Read all about them in the upcoming April 2008 issue of Railfan & Railroad Magazine, Lineside Legacy (preservation) column.
