Remarks & Notes

ALCo builder #69786, built August 1942 by Schenectady Works. Actually donated by NC&StL for perpetual display in the park. 576, 'J3' Dixie class, was moved into position 9/13/53 and is the only surviving mainline NC&StL steam locomotive known.
