Remarks & Notes |
With a snowstorm looming on the horizon, River Line diesel light rail vehicle 3516 speeds into Trenton. The train is passing beneath the New Jersey Route 129 overpass on former Pennsylvania Railroad trackage that once hosted such famous trains as the "Nellie Bly". Notice the ties on the dual tracks as well, one track has wooden ties and the other concrete. The track with concrete ties was laid by NJ Transit when the River Line was being constructed, while the track with wooden ties was already in place and in use by Conrail. |
