| A heavy snow squall kicked up just minutes before Amtrak's Pere Marquette came into view, as the heavy snow was being spawned by frigid Canadian air blowing over Lake Michigan. But later in the morning, 506 would lead the three Superliners into Chicago under a clear blue sky. What a difference just a couple hours can make along the Lake Michigan shoreline! |
