The power off of 12R has just ran around it's train, and tied onto the west end. Normally this train would head straight to Calgary at night to be cleaned and wyed, however, due to some unfortunate circumstances on the Mountain Sub (including a derailment and a broken drawbar) the train arrived in Banff over 16 hours late. The train was due to depart west at 0800, but since it didn't arrive until 1100, this, obviously, was impossible. The train would deadhead back to Kamloops and passengers would be bussed!
