The Bayshore-Wattsonville Peddler is about to cross Stockton Avenue while RP.net contributor Charles Freericks advances the film on an Argus/Cosina STL 1000 (still have it). This BSWJ would later be cleared as the 4435East because the first two units came off at San Jose, a typical move. As its name indicates, it originated in SP's Bayshore Yard in San Francisco, carrying freight down to Watsonville Junction Yard. At the time, Bayshore had less than a year left open as an active yard, being closed in Spring of 1979.
