| Because of its alignment, the East Lancashire Railway can be relied on to give great backlighting. Early morning or late afternoon in the winter months are the best times to provide dramatic images. By 'relied on' I actually mean IF the sun is out and IF the locomotive is working hard and IF you're in the right place at the right time and IF you press the shutter at the correct instant. In other words - seldom! |
