Remarks & Notes |
A Yardley Switch drags a cut of cars up to the N Freya Street grade separation on the "High Line." To the left are the Stockyards at Trent and Freya. They have since been razed for a wastewater facility. This chop-nosed SD9 was rebuilt by LRC (Livingston Rebuild Center) in July of 1989 from Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range #132, a February 1958 EMD product. I took this shot on my last business trip for NBC (I was laid off about a month later). |
