Remarks & Notes
The 'Moorlander' is the prestige and justly famous dining train of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, leaving Grosmont at 1250 hours daily. My late and widely-traveled father who had just returned from a European trip on the 'Orient Express', said the 'Moorlander' was superior in almost every respect. With motive power like 'Blue Peter' at the helm, and in countryside like this, who am I to disagree?
