One of the most widely traveled locomotives in preservation is seen here crossing the River Irwell on her home ground. In fact the Irwell is crossed and re-crossed no less than eight times between Bury and Rawtenstall. Enthusiasts of BR lined black livery may have a point when it looks as good as this!
