The Heritage Railway Blonay-Chamby, a paradise for the lover of 1 m-gauge traction and situated high above Lake Geneva, can celebrate 40 years of operation. G 3/3 number 6 of the former Bière-Apples-Morges was runing on this day as "J-S 909" with the name "Brünig", like she rolled from 1901 to 1903 on the Brünig line from Lucerne to Giswil, which belonged then to the Jura-Simplon Railway. The second engine is the HG 3/4 3 of the former Brig-Furka-Disentis. Both locomotives are on the Blonay-Chamby for many years now but the first one was overhauled just some days before and is in a superb condition.
