Now leaning into the curve below Storm King Mountain, Q110 had been held at CP 52 for about 1/2 hour. President Bush delivered the commencement address at West Point this particular year and all rail traffic was held at various times during the day. Interesting radio conversation included one CSXT agent telling the DS to say hello to George for him if he saw him. DS answer was that he did and George gave him a big wave. Railroaders can have quite the sense of humor, I guess you need it at times in this business. |
