Remarks & Notes |
Rosebay Willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium) is a perennial herbaceous plant in the willowherb family Onagraceae. Also known as 'fireweed' it is native throughout the temperate Northern Hemisphere. I can only apologise for my camera's focusing system it appears to have concentrated on a steam locomotive passing by. Some chap wearing an extremely orange-coloured jacket told me that it was on its way to Skipton and thence onward to Swinden Quarry. |
