Remarks & Notes
A Metro Rail train heads to Los Angeles through the Archstone Del Mar. This building hides the Santa Fe depot, which has been restored, but will never again host the Super Chief. The Archstone Del Mar is an apartment building, and a transit fan's dream... just invite others over and ask them if they want to see your garden railroad. Still, it's hard for my mind to wrap itself around the idea that I once rode this ROW on ex Santa Fe Hi-Level cars being pulled by SDP40Fs. The memory feels like yesterday.
