| Whilst holidaying in Denmark we stumbled upon a lovely preserved 'Veterenbanen' railway line that runs from Bryrup to Vrads, near the regional town of Silkeborg. They have two of these wonderful 'FII' class 0-6-0's introduced (as FI's) in the 1870's. No.665 is a later product but details are scant. The area is charecterised by sandy heathlands and pine forest, similar to the New Forest in Britain. |
