Elkins bound!Built in 1945 by the Lima Locomotive Works of Lima, OH for the Western Maryland Railway, Shay #6 was shipped to Elkins, WV. The 162 ton Shay#6 was used as a coal hauler on the Chaffe branch where she would see grades up to 9%. Come see the the last and largest Lima Shay ever built when #6 travels 67 miles to Elkins, WV from Cass on July 10.
