Remarks & Notes |
The sole surviving LMS 'Mogul', a 1933 design by Sir William Stanier, forges uphill past Cliviger towards Copy Pit. She is heading eastbound for the Lancashire-Yorkshire boundary across the Pennine hills. The run in this direction is something of a rarity and allows Pendle Hill (behind the exhaust) to be included in the picture. |
