Remarks & Notes |
An SD70Mac and an SD70Ace lead KCS's Atlanta to Dallas intermodal train over an inlet of Lake Lavon on a hot Sunday morning. Lake Lavon is a man-made lake and was finished in 1953. The KCS line, which was acquired from the Santa Fe in the mid-90's, was re-routed during construction of the lake. The faint lettering on the bridge girders spells out the steel maker - AMERICAN BRIDGE. |
