| HIGH ON THE MOUNTAIN! The beauty of Appalachia is definately assured when standing from this viewpoint high above the siding at Starnes. The summer brings lush vegetation...along with snakes and ticks....but sometimes you have to battle the elements of the land to get that special picture. This SB is on the assault as he begins his ascent up the small grade towards the summit at Kermit as he approaches the 3rd Clinch River bridge. |
