Remarks & Notes

This Chicago Clearing, IL to Mason City, IA coal extra is working hard to get up the 1% grade into Jackson Jct at MP 53. As you can see the train has topped the hill, so some speed will now be attained till the next hill in 3 miles. Northeast Iowa is good for some up and down railroading. At MP 53 now, 64 miles to Mason City.
