Remarks & Notes
Out in western Iowa, this Mason City extra has about 15 miles left on their trip today. The crew is running out to Sanborn, IA to spot the last 25 cars of a KCS Feeder Train before heading to Spencer for rest. This end of railroad use to load alot of KCS trains, but in the ethanol era not much grain is loaded out on this west end of the Mason City Sub anymore. Everly is MP 225, which is 225 miles west of Marquette, IA.
