Remarks & Notes 
At 16.40 on the last day of January the first load of ballast is dropped at Km post 80 on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. The hoppers are Rail Track's new autoballaster wagons which are radio controlled by the operators walking besaide the shutes. As can be seen the wagons have their own flood lighting to enable night ballasting to be carried out.
