Remarks & Notes |
The last significant snowfall of 2007 buried GEXR 584 in St Jacob's so GEXR sent 1400 and 3821 to rescue the train on the 11 mile spur line north of the GEXR main. The F units were a rare sight east of Stratford and were a main stay on the Goderich runs. They have since been taken out of service and sit in Goderich. *Note* The engine in the background was on 584 earlier and was to be used on the local to Guelph. I believe the crew assembled the Guelph local and took it to Guelph or Breslau but they never did make it to switch out the Guelph industries this day. |
