| Santa Fe #3751 and three GE P42DCs pull an impressive string of private varnish over the Los Angeles River on a very dark and grey morning. Listed as "A 9751 1 21" the train was referred to on the radio simply as "3751" while it was called "AAPRCO Special - The San Diegan" in AAPRCO promotional mateirals. Carrying the American Association of Private Rail Car Owners Convention from Amtrak's 8th Street Yard in Los Angeles down to Old Town in San Diego, the train is climbing onto the Redondo Junction Flyover here. |
