CMStP&P manifest moves past Wood on its way south. Note the three flags on the side of the building that operators used to authorize movements in the daytime--green for the IC, yellow for the MILW, and red for stop. Lanterns of the same colors were used at night. Rip-rap in the foreground was put there during or after the flood of 1965. At the right edge of the photo, in the distance, you can make out the dark red, IC roundhouse.
