Pittsburgh is a city that loves its fireworks, and at 10PM on Saturday October 4th, the biggest display of fireworks in the city's history began, capping off a celebration of Pittsburgh's 250th birthday. As luck would have it, a northbound NS train on the Mon Line appeared several minutes after the fireworks began.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
