Remarks & Notes
#58 fell victim to arson on March 16, 2008. Personnel have moved all 4 of the involved pieces from the engine house in which the vandal(s) broke into and did their destruction. The engine house has been razed, and the Knox and Kane is having a liquidation auction Oct. 10th&11th. #58 was built for the Knox and Kane by Tang Shan Locomotive works in China in 1989. You can also see the charred remains of an ex D&H coach that was built in 1890, and restored in the 1930's.
