An old shot from 1984. Lancashire and Yorkshire 'A' Class no 1300 after seen shortly after its first restoration at Carnforth, in the days when it was open to the public. The loco has recently been restored again to traffic on the East Lancashire Railway and is working again in this splendid livery. In the background can be seen the mighty Flying Scotsman. This was when Carnforth was its base.
