| EMD 710eco demonstrator number 7102 was floated up to Alaska for a several month long test. It is seen resting in front of the ARR yard office as a string of cabooses is pulled by on the lead. The fuel efficient 8-cylinder rebuilt is EMDs bid to go head to head with the GenSet offerings from NRE, Railpower, and others that are flooding the market. |
